The
Hamm GRW 18 rubber-tired roller can accommodate a maximum
operating weight of nearly 62,000 lbs. Hamm pneumatic rollers have
a generous 2-inch tire overlap, even at half of the maximum turning angle,
and have four wheels each front and back (eight total). Dual pivot points
on the front axle provide high stability and manueuverability. They also
have three-speed power shift transmissions, smooth, jerk-free shifing
with hydrodynamic drive (no chain drive), and high on-site mobility, with
transport speed of up to 12.5 mph.
